Research Interests and Experience:

Working with the National Food and Agricultural Policy Project, Dr. Richards' primary research interests lie in the performance and structure of world horticultural markets. He is also interested in agricultural cooperatives, agricultural insurance, and the economics of dairy production. He received his Ph.D. in 1994 from Stanford University where his dissertation concerned the inefficiencies due to regulation in the Canadian dairy industry.
